Ellie Kate and Molly...

These two cuties happen to be children of some of my high school friends. I was so excited when Kati emailed and asked if I would be available to do a session with them. It's so much fun to see my friends have their own little people - with such cute personalities! Ellie Kate and Molly could not have been more adorable. Thanks for a fun morning!

I love the little ones...

I love people period, but I am especially fond of the little ones. These two cuties reminded me of how much I love what I do every day. What a great privilege to capture the sweetest times in life.

I cannot believe it's been a full year since I took CJ's newborn photos! My how they change in those few months! Happy Birthday cutie pie!

My favorite time of year is upon us. There is something almost magical about the colors this time of year - and at the right time of day, I'm almost in Heaven. And then add five bubbly little girls...well I can barely contain my excitement! What a grand time we had running around the yard, catching frogs, and bouncing through the flowers. Thanks for a splendid afternoon!

Oh my goodness, I must admit I have a soft spot for kids named Owen (my own son's name) - and now one for Ruby too (I had a fun great aunt by the same name). These two kiddos were quite the entertainers! The music went on and the good times rolled!

My baby loves her daddy for sure. And I think the feeling is mutual.

it's good to be one...

Happy first Birthday to Jack! He celebrated in style with his older sister Ella. Both made sure I had an exciting morning, finished off with a toddler favorite - Goldfish crackers.

Here's a quick peek at Kristin and Peter's big day. Such a fun couple! It was obvious to all how much they adore one another. Of course, I have known this for many months now, as they were my first ever engagement session - and then first ever wedding booking. I've looked forward to their day for the past year - and it did not disappoint!

I love this detail...the lace was from Peter's mother's wedding dress.

Leadership Summit

I had an amazing opportunity this past week to photograph Willow Creek's Leadership Summit, along with a few other photographers (one of which was my super talented former instructor). The speakers were incredible people who have fully surrendered their lives to the causes God has placed on their hearts. I was so honored just to be there, let alone be trusted with their photos!
